PJ's Cattle Company started in 1996, by Jim and Pat Swigert, and their family. PJ's Cattle company started with 6 head from Dr. Frank Anderson's herd of Butler Longhorns. PJ's has conitnued to breed pure Butler and heavy Butler influenced animals since the beginning.

PJ's Cattle Company prides itself in raising well rounded cattle with good confirmation, long horns, eye catching, colorful, highly productive, and long life cattle with no particular emphasis on any one trait but improving all.
